It's a rebuilding year. We're modernizing, simplifying, and getting Back to Basics.
Draft your team. Set your lineup. Talk some trash. Watch football. Win money.
We're also simplifying the prize structure. Rather than spreading the money around with weekly prizes, regular-season prizes and a Toilet Bowl prize, we're concentrating the money where it matters:
No weekly high-score prizes
No regular season 1st, 2nd or 3rd-place prizes
No Toilet Bowl prize
Regular Season Overall High Score: Gets their $50 entry fee back
Playoffs 3rd Place: Gets their $50 entry fee back
Playoffs 2nd Place: Doubles their money
Playoffs 1st Place — the League Champion Wins everything else 🤑
And because winning the regular season should still mean something, the Regular Season Champion gets a first-round bye in the playoffs.
The entry fee is now just one easy $50 bill.
No complicated accounting. No keeping track of multiple side games. Hand over a $50 and you're officially invested in making terrible decisions for the next four months.
Trades are now free.
Want to improve your team? Make a trade.
Need a player off the waiver wire? Go get him.
Want to make a completely unnecessary roster move at 2:17 AM because you suddenly have a “gut feeling”? Knock yourself out.
We're eliminating the Pick'em and Survivor games.
If you enjoy those games and want to participate, great — but they are no longer mandatory. The goal is to make fantasy football something you can enjoy without feeling like you've taken on a second job.
The playoff prize money will look like this:
10-Team League
1st Place $300
2nd Place $100
3rd Place $50
The goal here isn't to make the league more complicated. It's actually the opposite. Less money required. Fewer things to keep track of. Fewer side games. Free trades. A simpler prize structure. And a bigger chunk of the money going to the teams that actually win.
